# Aircraft Heat Map

## 24 Hour ***Heat Map.***

Every aircraft tracked across the UK in the last 24 hours, drawn as a single heat map. It shows where traffic concentrates and how far the receiver network reaches.

## Reading the Heat Map

### Strongest where it is busiest

The most intense colours mark airports, airways and holding patterns, where traffic is densest.

### Edges show coverage

Where the colour fades, the network's reach is ending. Gaps often reflect receiver coverage rather than empty sky.

### Always the last 24 hours

The map rolls forward continuously, so it always reflects the most recent day of traffic.
